Vaillant AroTherm Plus 3.5kW Air - Water Heat Pump

Vaillant aroTHERM Plus 3.5kW Air-to-Water Heat Pump

The Vaillant aroTHERM Plus 3.5kW Air-to-Water Heat Pump is an energy-efficient heating solution that extracts heat from the outside air and converts it into heating and hot water for your home. Designed to operate efficiently even in colder temperatures, this heat pump is suitable for a range of properties, including smaller homes, apartments, and well-insulated properties. The unit is installed outside the property and operates very quietly, with noise levels similar to a domestic fridge, making it ideal for residential areas where low noise levels are important. The aroTHERM heat pump uses electricity to operate, but approximately 75% of the energy it produces comes from renewable heat extracted from the outside air, with only around 25% coming from electricity. This makes it a highly efficient and environmentally friendly heating solution that can help reduce energy bills and carbon emissions. The Vaillant aroTHERM Plus range is designed to deliver high flow temperatures and strong hot water performance, and it can be controlled via a smartphone app when installed with Vaillant VR 900 or sensoNET controls. Please note that anti-vibration feet are sold separately.

How Air Source Heat Pumps Work

Air source heat pumps extract heat from the outside air and use it to heat water for radiators, underfloor heating, and hot water cylinders. Even when outdoor temperatures are low, there is still heat energy in the air that can be used. This makes heat pumps an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional gas or oil boilers.
