Mira Sport Thermostatic Electric Shower

Mira Sport Thermostatic Electric Shower

Enjoy a more comfortable and consistent shower with the Mira Sport Thermostatic Electric Shower. A trusted choice for decades, this popular electric shower combines reliable performance with thermostatic temperature stability and modern showering features. Available in a contemporary White/Chrome finish with 9kW and 9.8kW power options, it is designed to provide dependable performance for everyday family showering.

Thermostatic Temperature Stability

Unlike standard electric showers, the Mira Sport Thermostatic is designed to provide a more consistent water temperature, helping reduce sudden changes between hot and cold. This makes it a practical choice for busy family bathrooms where reliable and comfortable showering is important. Advanced pressure-stabilised temperature control works alongside the thermostatic technology to help maintain a comfortable shower temperature, while separate power and temperature controls let you fine-tune the experience to your preference.

Four Versatile Spray Modes

The 120mm multi-mode handset gives you four unique, optimised spray experiences to suit different showering preferences. Choose a broad full-coverage spray for everyday use or switch to a more powerful massage-style setting when you want something more invigorating. The handset features rub-clean nozzles, making it easier to remove limescale and keep the spray outlets performing effectively.

Simple Everyday Operation

The Mira Sport Thermostatic is designed to be straightforward to use. Separate controls allow you to adjust the power and temperature independently, whether you prefer a cool, refreshing rinse or a warmer, more relaxing shower. A simple push-button on/off control makes starting and stopping the shower quick and convenient. Once you have selected your preferred settings, they can be left ready for your next shower.

Advanced Safety Features

Mira Sensi-Flo™ technology continuously monitors the shower's water flow rate and can detect potential blockages in the hose or showerhead. If a blockage is detected, the heating element can automatically shut off to help prevent sudden temperature increases and reduce the risk of scalding. The shower also features phased shutdown, which flushes hot water from the tank after use. This helps make the shower safer for the next person to use.

Limescale Protection and Consistent Performance

Mira Clearscale™ technology uses a specially designed heating element to help reduce limescale build-up inside the shower unit by up to 50%. Combined with Dual Element™ technology, it helps support reliable performance and a longer-lasting shower. Mira Opti-flo™ technology helps optimise water flow throughout the year by adjusting to seasonal changes in mains water temperature. This helps maintain a more consistent showering experience without the need for constant manual adjustments.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The Mira Sport Thermostatic has been designed to make replacement and installation straightforward. It can retrofit onto the inlets of most Mira electric showers, making it a practical choice when upgrading an existing unit. Adjustable slide bars can help cover fixing holes left behind by a previous shower kit, helping you achieve a neat finish without unnecessary alterations to the surrounding wall or tiles. Easy filter access also makes routine servicing more convenient, while the smooth shower hose is simple to clean.

Available Power Options

The Mira Sport Thermostatic Electric Shower is available in a White/Chrome finish with two power ratings: 9kW and 9.8kW.
