Glow-Worm Vertical Flue Terminal

Glow-worm Vertical Flue Terminal

The Glow-worm Vertical Flue Terminal is designed for installations where the boiler flue needs to exit upwards through a flat or pitched roof. It provides a safe, secure, and weather-tight termination point for the flue system, ensuring the boiler operates efficiently and in line with regulations. In most installations, flue extensions will be required between the boiler and the roof exit point, helping you reach the correct height and position for the terminal. Some Glow-worm boilers may also need a vertical flue adaptor to ensure a proper connection and a smooth installation.

FAQs

Do I always need a vertical flue adaptor with this terminal?

Not always — some Glow-worm models require one, while others do not. It’s best to check the installation manual for your specific boiler.

Can this terminal be used on both flat and pitched roofs?

Yes — it’s designed for use with either type of roof, provided the correct flashing kit is installed.

Will I need flue extensions for a vertical installation?

In most cases, yes. Extensions are usually needed to bridge the distance from the boiler to the roof exit point.
