Frequently Asked Questions

Is this valve suitable for all types of radiators?

Yes, this 15mm straight valve is compatible with most standard domestic radiators where the pipework comes in horizontally and connects directly into the side of the radiator.

What’s the difference between a straight and an angled valve?

A straight valve connects to pipework that runs horizontally into the radiator, while an angled valve is used when pipework comes from the wall or floor at a 90° angle to the radiator connection.

Does this valve regulate temperature like a TRV?

No, this is a manual wheel head valve. You adjust it by hand to control the flow of water into the radiator. If you’re looking for automatic temperature control, consider a **thermostatic radiator valve (TRV)** instead.
